I have been really interested in run down, abandoned houses lately.
No reason other than the mystery and my imagination are intrigued.
Why is it abandoned?
Was there a terrible tragedy?
Was the family forced to flee?
Where they murdered?
Desolate?
What did they leave behind?
So, I thought I'd start taking pictures of them.
This house I pass on my way to the sitters.
I peaked in the window
obviously
and it's full of really cool old wooden furniture.
The bed is still made and the pull out couch is filthy gross.

That's super cool. I love run down houses as well. They leave so much room for your imagination to run wild with all of the possibilities.
Love the photos. I keep putting off taking real ones with my real camera. If you have some time and like taking photos so much, you can come take a stab at my pregnancy pics. I trusted Jonathan to take good ones during the Meike-belly-painting session, but he doesn't have the eye for it (I realized this after looking at the photos ;) ). Me running back and forth positioning the tripod is tres exausting. And I hate the corny cliche shots that most of the professionals around here do, like making heart shapes with my hands on my belly.
