Sunday Confess Sesh

A friend over here decided to start this so I thought I'd join in.
Mostly because sometimes it is fun to write little snip-it blogs and well, it is always fun to write about yourself.
This weeks confessions are as follows:

1) Sometimes I don't eat lunch. I leave work, get into my car, drive to some remote parking lot, crawl into the back seat and take a 45 minute nap. I have NEVER been a nap person until I became pregnant (just many of the things about me that changed post baby hormones). I am telling you though that 45 min nap is the key to a none high strung K8. It's not that I get tired without the nap... necessarily. It's that I revert to 2yo behavior (as in the melo-drama comes out). Ask me where I left my pen and I burst into tears. Hold the door for me and I bear hug you.

2) The meal I eat more than any other is tortilla with diced tomato, lettuce, shaved cheddar cheese, and tabasco sometimes I add yellow mustard. I have at least two a day. I have no clue why and, trust me, the waiters in Mexican restaurants look at me like I am totally insane.
"no meat?"
"nope"
no onions?"
"hell no"
"so just lettuce, tomato and cheese?"
"yes, but cold shredded cheese."
"er, ok". (weirdo)

3) I HATE Thomas the Train. I mean utterly despise him with all my heart and soul. The worst part is that I completely judge parents that allow their children to wear Thomas themed clothes, have his toys, and let them watch that stupid show. I know that is so so so so not nice but the show is just completely absurd (can I add Barney, Spongebob, Dora, The Wiggles, Sesame Street, Baby Einstein, Transformers, and Yo Gabba Gabba onto that?)
If you let your kids watch that I will not judge on a personal level (trust me, I use Wall-E and Wallace and Gromit in order to shower in peace) but if you let my Monster watch those shows...
you suffer my rath.

And there you have it.
The confessions of k8-first edition.
Feel free to judge.
I mean, come on, they ARE confessions.

OMG you crack me up! Love the "burrito" recipe!

I would be *terrified* to take a nap in my car. I'm not usually a nap person either, but on Saturdays and Sundays sometimes, I just need one!

I dislike my kid wearing anything with characters on it. I don't know why. Although, I have succumbed to his recent requests for Cars shoes, Toy Story shoes, and a Dr. Seuss t-shirt... I don't like him watching TV either. I usually shower at 5 a.m. before he is awake. In a pinch, I will put on some cartoons (he loves classic cartoons like Tom and Jerry!)

I also hate The Wiggles, Barney and a number of other childrens' televsion shows and I try to keep them away from Rupert by just not introducing them, but he's found a few on his own. We are huge lovers of Spongebob and most other Nickelodeon cartoons, mostly because I watched them before I had a child! :)
This is going to sound awful, but the characters I hate the most on clothes are Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. Why? I have no clue, I love the shows and books... just HATE the clothes!

I agree, I could not sleep in my car... that's scary... but I will sneak off to my car and park under a tree to read a book and have a few cigs on lunch. That's always good times ;)
