A random and mostly exhausting day.

Ugh, Double, Ugh, and Merde!
and then some happy stuff happened...

The death of my computer has occured.
It just says beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
sometimes it lets me log in and then it freezes.
D is attempting to fix it buuuut it ain't looking pretty folks.

In the mean time I am using me work computer and D's computer to blog.

Thursday we had off thanks to Veteran's day (yay!)
But then Little O and I spent the morning at the DR getting poked, proded, shot up, and other scary stuff. (boo)
But they took my insurance (yay)

When we got home I turned on Toy Story (gee, imagine that).
While Little O rested his weary old 2yo body (hehe) I painted some old pots...

And planted some cabbage in them...

I like this one a lot...

Little O then decided to help with planting my tulips.
And by help I mean he threw dirt clods, ate some dirt, and flew around in his plastic Buzz Lightyear wings.
I'm not certain that planting bulbs this far south will work but I ADORE tulips.
And I put them in the freezer for 2 months to mimic winter.

There are two trees along the portion of my garden that runs the length of the fence.
Pretty sure that sentence made no sense.
Anyway, I'll just pretend you know what I'm talking about.
I decided to steal bricks from the state highway.
Don't tell anyone.
and then I added some lovely dirt and planted the bulbs.
I thought some tulips would make the garden mucho gorgey (that's kate speak for very pretty).
Little O planted a sucker.
Not kidding.

Little O (who at this point had started limping due to the 834793874 shots they gave him) went off to plant suckers in the sandbox.
I planted some more basil, broccoli, and cabbage.
Soon I'll be adding potatoes!
btw, a limping Little O (while very tragic and painful to see as a mother was freaking hysterically funny).

Next up on my random day off I picked a nice, hefty load of grape tomatoes.
On a side note...
I'm sitting in D's computer room/office.
Which I never do.
It's too white and clean and free of legos and empty juice boxes.
But it smells of bacon and eggs.
I'm not kidding.
Now I'm hungry.
Does he have a bacon and eggs air freshner?
I wouldn't be surprised.

Then I made my super fabulous coffee cake with walnuts for D...
Cause he loves it...
and I'm super fabby and nice and stuff like that...
Oh, and I got to lick the bowl.

Lastly, I thought it was a tad chilly in the house.
Instead of putting in a sweater or socks or jeans or something stupid like that I decided to make asiago cheese bread.
Prep the yeast.
Add ingredients like the bread machine says to.
Put on dough cycle.
Let rise on bread stone.
Bake.
Eat...
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..............

And there you have it ya'll a random Little O and Mommy day off.

Grandma got me a bread maker and I'm a little (ok..A LOT) confused by it...so I'm still baking my breads in the oven.

I use it to make the dough (i.e. no kneading) and then I bake it in the oven.
